The desktop app for Windows is not out yet. Until then, use Nilux in your terminal: the app will open the same projects, settings and conversations, so nothing you do there is lost.

You chat with the agent in a terminal window. It reads your project, makes changes and runs commands, and asks you before anything that changes your files.

    Install Node.js 20 or newer from nodejs.org. Already have it? Check with node -v.

    Install Git for Windows. Nilux runs its commands in the Git Bash that comes with it.

    Install Nilux:

    Open your project folder in the terminal and type nilux. The first time, your browser opens so you can sign in.
